In beautiful Girdwood, you can learn to Rock Climb at Tram Rock! This creek side crag is nestled deep in the forest right under the Tram cables.

Our 3 hour "top-roped" climbing experience is just a 10 minute hike from The Alyeska Prince Hotel. No experience is necessary and all gear is provided.

Though there are intermediate and advanced routes available, this environment is perfect for beginners and fun for the whole family!

This tour requires a minimum of 2 persons to operate.

Summary: MUST BE ORDERED AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE OF THE TOUR DATE. This tour does not include hotel pick-up or transportation to Girdwood. Guests will be required to sign a liability waiver. This tour must have a minimum of 2 participants to operate. Maximum per tour is 8 participants. No children under 3 allowed. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-613-6033. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Please bring sturdy footwear, water, a snack, your camera and appropriate clothing.

Ethics

Guides personally practice and teach "Leave No Trace" (LNT) principles. All garbage from snacks etc will be packed out. We strive to approach zero environmental impact. We support the Access Fund on conservation projects, land acquisitions and climbing policy.

Accessibility

Services are offered to guests of all ages ranging from 2 to 70. Climbing is rigorous in nature; therefore, participants must sign a Liability Waiver to acknowledge they understand the nature of the activity and the dangers inherent in it.

Handicap access is limited; however, accommodation have been made for disabled persons in the past and guides are willing to do their best to give everyone an opportunity to climb. Examples include arranging appropriate transportation, additional rigging (i.e. fixed lines) and a 1 to 1+ client to guide ratio for technical climbing.
